Norwegian Coastal Voyage: Bergen to Kirkenes
For over a century, coastal ships have sailed the route between Bergen and Kirkenes, carrying post, cargo and passengers to the small harbours along the way. This seven-night voyage follows that route north, past fjords, islands and fishing villages into the Arctic.
Cabins are comfortable and every one has a window. Between ports there are lectures on the coast's history and wildlife, and in winter the crew will wake you if the northern lights appear.
